Wrapping it up…

Earlier this year, I tore my meniscus, which affected my weight-bearing and standing on cement. After undergoing numerous physical therapy sessions and consistent exercise, I was finally able to return to my studio. As we near the end of 2025 and the start of a new year, I’m excited to share a new project I began on October 1, 2025.

Quarter 1 (October 1 - December 20, 2025, mixed media, 12” x 12”)

This project (above) was inspired by Organized Chaos and involved using the remaining four Canson watercolor paper sheets (12” x 12”). My goal is to complete a tiny box each day to track the quarter of a year. However, I encountered a challenge because the number of days in a quarter varies, and the 12” square didn’t accommodate all the days accurately. This project is quirky and fun.

Stay tuned in 2026 as this project may grow. Some of those tiny boxes could be inspiration for a larger work and perhaps become “mosaics” that move around.

Thank you so much for supporting my work and I wish you a fantastic new year filled with health and prosperity.
